You can do so much with so little...

Well... my, my my.  I can't believe how long it's been since I've written anything here.  I'm so sorry!  It's not due to lack of activity, thought or care, it's simply due to lack of time.

So many things are changing...

We have five people living in our home, we've been cooking a LOT (mostly healthy, organic & veggie-based) meals all together, and Chip loves the growing family.

I claimed a desk at the Simply Smiles office and have been working pretty regular 'office hours'.

I decided to spend more time in Mexico at the Simply Smiles projects in the next calendar year.  This means I need to be strong and ready to hike, so I have gym plans most mornings.

We've been trying to be careful about using our cars vs. public transportation, and I've dusted off my bike.

We've been intentionally spending more time with friends and family - especially in the evenings where we can all share good food, usually some adult beverages and a lot of laughs.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that life has been good!  (And maybe I'm growing up?  Nah...)

I just spent the last few minutes connecting with people that I met this summer on tour, which includes my friends Kurt and Alline from Missouri.  The two of them run a bed & breakfast + store + restaurant, and I had a great time getting to know them this summer.  Their story is awesome, and they are true examples of how you can live well with so little.

They believe in treading lightly on this earth, and they've done such an amazing job doing it!  My favorite thing, is that they do it beautifully.  They live well and they live responsibly, and I know it's wrong, but I covet their house.  So, I just wanted to give you a link to their website so that you could be refreshed and inspired just like I was this morning!

I hope you're having a great day (if you're in Connecticut, it's a rainy one) and have a fantastic weekend.

Talk soon, Kristen
