I figured it would be easy to let you know what’s happening right now so that we can keep up with each other!

I’m working on my PhD at the University of Toronto in ethnomusicology (remotely)
I’m filling in as an emergency caregiver at the Simply Smiles Children’s Village on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation (I’m actually in South Dakota)
I’m writing and publishing new music in a project called “Picture This”
I’m running every day and have had a long running streak! I began a running streak on September 1, 2019, and I haven’t missed a day yet! (Also, I’ve run two marathons during this streak!)
I’m learning Portuguese - it is so much fun! If you don’t use the Duolingo app - I highly recommend. :)
